HMI was awarded a contract by the the City of Fort Worth (TX) to conduct a job task analysis and develop content-valid Physical Ability Tests and standard(s) for Firefighter, Police Officer, and Municipal Court Deputy Marshal applicants and incumbents.  

(Completed August 2007) Grant Prideco - Tube Alloy Division

HMI was selected by the Tube-Alloy division of Grant Prideco to conduct field analyses and human factors and ergonomic assessments as part of job and physical demand analyses for this international oil and gas specialty pipe manufacturing company.

(Completed January 2007) Murray City and South Jordan, UT, Fire Departments
HMI was awarded a contract by the Murray City and South Jordan (UT) Fire Departments to conduct a job task analysis and develop content-valid Physical Ability Tests and standard(s) for firefighter applicants and incumbents.

HMI was awarded a contract by the Scottsdale (AZ) Fire Department to conduct a job task analysis and develop a content-valid Physical Ability Test and standard for firefighter applicants and incumbents.

HMI was contracted by BTE Technologies, Inc. to assist with the completion of a job task analysis and human factors and ergonomics assessments for their train services "conductor" job classification and to complete a transportability analysis and validation of a pre-assignment work tolerance screening and a physical capacity assessment program.

HMI was selected by the Sara Lee Baking Group to conduct field analysis and human factors and ergonomics assessments to as part of a job and physical demand analyses for the nationwide commercial baking group's operations.

HMI was selected to conduct a a job task analysis to develop and validate a content-valid Physical Ability Test and deliver a comprehensive set of Medical Guidelines for the Federal Protective Service, Department of Homeland Security, Washington, D.C.

(Completed December 2005) Union Pacific Railroad
HMI was awarded a contract by Union Pacific Railroad to complete a job task analysis, human factors and ergonomics assessments for the nationwide train services group to develop a pre-assignment work tolerance screening and physical capacity assessment program.

HMI was awarded a contract by the Salt Lake City, UT, Fire Department to conduct a job task analysis to develop content-valid Physical Ability Test for incumbent firefighters with a consideration of its possible application to job applicants as well.

HMI has been awarded a contract by the Daimler Chrysler to conduct field analysis and human factors and ergonomics assessments to develop and validate a Post Offer of Employment Test program.

Health Metrics, Inc. was awarded a contract by the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to conduct a job task analysis to develop and validate a content-valid Physical Ability Test along with physical fitness standards for Police Officer applicants and for promotion of incumbents to the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain.
